I will say though, that I felt like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were the headliners. The crowd was amped and his show was amazing. That’s him crowd surfing. I’ve always wanted to do that, but alas, the life of a photographer doesn’t warrant such feats. His outfit was cool as usual!
I love Solange also. One of the more trendy singers with skill that I know.
Sadly, it was my first time seeing both The Roots (sad cuz I rep Philly!) and Naughty by Nature perform. I was NOT let down. Only thing though, is that I wanted to hear some of Naughty’s songs without the band (as I remember them). But Questlove is a true beast and professional on the drums. #amazing.
Get there next year!
